This EP is the audio of the live stream release show of ‘The Second Wave’ album, recorded live at our friend Sam Beers’ house with Emily & Savannah Gardner.
We had planned a band show, or even stream, but there was a limit of 6 people in a room at the time..
To be honest I wasn’t feeling too well on this occasion and lacking confidence, but for me.. it actually works for the tone of it.
I was grateful for a break from the stage in 2020 and have rediscovered writing and playing solo (and Neil Young)
Ever since I have been happy to play in a sit down quiet way again, which we could never get away with in the bars. I especially like this version of ‘Danger Zone 2’. It was nice to make a record really quickly and put something out with little fuss, I may have chosen some of the artwork a little too quickly!
